FlyEV, Inc. ("FlyEV," "we," "us," or "our") operates the FlyEV platform at flyev.app. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service. By using FlyEV, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password hash. If you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your name and email from Google.
Booking information: When you book a flight, we collect passenger name, email address, phone number (optional), flight details, and payment information. Payment card data is handled exclusively by Stripe — FlyEV never stores raw card numbers.
Usage data: We collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns.
Cookies: We use session cookies to maintain authentication state. No third-party advertising cookies are used.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.
We share your booking information (name, contact details, flight details) with the relevant Operator (e.g., Joby Aviation, Archer Aviation) solely to fulfill your booking. Operators are contractually required to use your information only for flight operations and not for unrelated marketing.

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Booking records are retained for 7 years to comply with applicable tax and aviation recordkeeping requirements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7), subject to legal retention obligations.
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest via Supabase, and access controls limiting who can view personal data. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. We conduct regular security reviews of our infrastructure.
No system is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at security@flyev.app.

FlyEV is based in the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the US (including the UAE and EU), your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers from the EU/EEA.
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us immediately and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a prominent notice on the Service before the change takes effect.
